With the New Year just beginning, here is an overview of the all the shows our staff will be watching in 2023.

February- Milan Fashion Week is just around the corner from February 21st-27th. Milan Fashion week features many big names such as Gucci, Giorgio Armani, Fendi, and Prada. Many of these events are invite only, but can be live streamed.

March- On March 10th, Versace will be putting on a show in LA to showcase their 2023 Fall/Winter collection. Although not many Italian brands chose The United States to debut their collections, Donatella Versace was quoted describing Hollywood as "the perfect place for Versace" due to its "power and vulnerability, creativity and emotional expression," that is shares with the collection.

April- One of the most talked about music events of the year, Coachella, is also worth watching for the notable outfits on performers, and celebrity audience members alike.

One of the most talked about events on the Tulane campus, the Tulane Fashion Show is also happening this year on April 16th on campus. This event is one our list that you don't need A lister status to watch magnificent designs walk the runway.

May- The first Monday in May, The Met Gala is one of the biggest fashion events of the year. Not only do the red carpet looks take over the tabloids the next day, but the event also marks the opening of the annual Fashion Exhibit held in The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

July- Interfilière Paris servers as a meeting place each year for big brands, new designers, suppliers, opinion makers, and buyers to network, discuss new trends, and present their ideas. This summer the event is from July 2nd-4th. Although this is an exclusive event, we're excited to see what new ideas are a product of so many bright fashion minds in one place.

August- On August 5th in New Orleans, Louisiana, locals and tourists flood Julia street in the Warehouse/Arts District to show off their white apparel and honor the local artists. Tents line the streets as artists showcase their work in the street for the night, as onlookers eat, drink, shop, and admire in their fashionable white linens.

September- An iconic September event, New York Fashion week takes place this year from September 7th-10th. Each day has numerous events featuring returning, top designers and new emerging talents. Some events are open to the public, but live streaming is also available.

October- Luxury second hand site, The Real Real, started National Consignment Day in 2017. The first Monday in October, the company came up with the idea to promote sustainable fashion.

November- Let's be honest the most interesting part of award shows is the red carpet. The American Music Awards are in Los Angeles this year on November 19th, and we'll definitely be tuning in to see out favorite musicians outfits of choice.

December- Each holiday season Ralph Lauren hosts a holiday show in which they showcase their holiday fashion ideas. Although this season is far away, we're excited to see classic reds and plaid prints Ralph Lauren will bring to the runway in 2023.
