How would you describe your style in three words?

Curated, Streetwear, and Chic.

My style is all about blending curated, streetwear-inspired pieces with chic, classic elements.

What trends or styles are you currently obsessed with for spring?

I’ve been obsessed with the denim-on-denim look and anything sheer or mesh lately.

How do you approach putting together an outfit?

My style depends on what I'm doing,

where I'm going, or who I'm seeing.

A good rule to follow is the sandwich rule.

I usually start with one statement piece, like a graphic top or a statement shoe, and build from there.

How did your fashion journey begin, and what are your future aspirations in fashion?

Fashion has always been a huge part of my life.

Growing up, my mom’s sense of style deeply influenced me. She taught me the importance of being intentional with how I present myself. Watching her and seeing characters in movies styled in cute outfits made me realize that fashion is a visual introduction to who you are.

In high school, I leaned into fashion more,

wearing bolder pieces and developing

a personal style that felt authentic to me.

Looking ahead, I see myself in fashion marketing—curating narratives, analyzing trends, and hopefully working with magazines to define what’s next in fashion.

What does fashion mean to you?

Fashion, to me, is personal branding.

It's how you introduce yourself without saying a word.

How has growing up in Chicago influenced your sense of style and self-expression?

I'm from Chicago,

a city that gave me early exposure to self-expression.

Each neighborhood had its aesthetic, and I noticed how people dressed differently depending on where they were from.

It made fashion feel like a living, breathing form of culture.

I learned to associate personal style with individuality and energy, which helped me find my voice.

How has your involvement in TU Fashion shaped your fashion journey?

TU Fashion was the first club I joined freshman year, and it immediately felt like a creative home.

I started out modeling in the 2023 TU Fashion Show, and being part of such a fun, supportive team made me realize how powerful fashion is when it's collaborative. That experience opened the door for me to dive deeper into the club, and I eventually joined the marketing team, where I got to create content like Style Saturdays and tons of Instagram posts.

How does the energy of New Orleans inspire your fashion choices?

Totally. New Orleans has such a bold, eclectic energy—it’s vibrant, expressive, and never boring.

The people here aren’t afraid to dress with personality, and that’s inspired me to be even more playful and experimental with my looks.

What upcoming events are you most excited about, and how are you planning your outfits for them?

I’m most excited to see the results of the TU Fashion Show Bull & Bear. Being part of the team and running the marketing for the show has been such an honor—it’s been amazing watching everything come together behind the scenes.

I can’t wait to see how all the creative elements—from the visuals to the styling—mesh on the actual day of the show. I’m excited to see how the outfits bring the theme to life, especially how each look will interpret “Bull & Bear” in its way. It’s going to be such a full-circle moment.

What are your outfit plans for Crawfest and Jazzfest?

Crawfest: For Crawfest, I’m leaning into a more casual-cute vibe—think gingham patterns, light-wash denim jorts, and some classic cowboy boots. It’s the perfect chance to play with southern-inspired pieces in a fun, effortless way.

Jazzfest: Jazzfest is when I go for that dreamy, free-spirited aesthetic. I’m planning on wearing long flowy skirts paired with a vintage statement piece—maybe something with texture or bold color. It’s all about comfort, creativity, and dressing to match the energy of the music and the crowd.

Who are the key people or style icons that influence your fashion choices?

My style has definitely been influenced by my mom and my aunt.

I’ve inherited a lot of their vintage pieces over the years, and I still stash them in my wardrobe—they're timeless and add such a personal touch to my looks.

Right now, I’m super inspired by Peggy Gou’s eclectic, bold styling, Lily-Rose Depp for that effortless model-off-duty vibe, and Emily Ratajkowski’s street style—she always nails the balance between casual and elevated.
